Methi Matar Malai can be made in many ways and its always a great way to incorporate greens in your meals. Healthy as well as tasty it makes a great side dish for regular dinner and parties.
Do try this version too and goes great with kids as it is sweet and full of nutrients.
- Methi: chopped cleaned 1 bunch
- Onions: 2 chopped
- Milk: 1/2 cup
- Peas: 1/2 cup boiled
- Carrots: steamed 1 (optional)
- Garam Masala: a pinch
- Cashews: 8-10 soaked in little milk
- Green chilies: 2-3 (depending on spice required)
- Milk: a little to grind
1.Heat oil in a pan, add onions sauté till translucent.
2.Add the cashew paste and sauté till raw smell goes.
3.Add methi leaves and cook till done.
4.Add the veggies and milk,garam masala and cook till desired consistency.
Serve hot with rotis/ pulav.
