A very Happy Women’s day to all the wonderful ladies out there. Hats off to all of us for donning many hats and being able to smile even in most difficult times.
We deserve all the attention n praise coming our,way. Today, I’m sharing a very easy recipe which takes minimum time in kitchen but tastes yummy. Like life, sweet, tangy, spicy n tasty. It bursts with flavors.
An amazing side dish for chapatis/ rotis. I have always been a fan of this curry. Just wrap it in a roti and you are good to go, doesn’t need much preparation and can be made very quickly in as good as 20 minutes flat. 😛
Can be sandwiched into bread and grill with some cheese and it makes a healthy snack too. 🙂

- Onions: 2-3 finely chopped
- Tomatoes: 3-4 finely chopped.
- Red chili powder: 2-3 tsp (Add more for spicier version)
- Turmeric Powder: 1 tsp.
- Sugar: a pinch
- Salt to taste
- Mustard seeds: 1 tsp
- Curry leaves: a spring.
- Oil: 2 tbsp
1.Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, let them crackle.
2.Add the curry leaves,onions and saute till golden brown.
3.Add chili powder, turmeric powder and give it a good stir.
4.Add the tomatoes and cook till oil starts leaving the pan.
5.Add salt and sprinkle sugar and cook till they become a thick gravy.
Serve hot with chapatis/ breads.
