Mondays are very lazy. I feel all the more sleepy on a Monday morning. I am sure we all face the same problem on Monday.
Today i am sharing a easy smoothie recipe. It has all the ingredients which help in kick starting a day. Since strawberries are in season, i couldn’t resist buying them. Sadly since they don’t stay fresh for longer, i decided to utilize them by making a smoothie. It was just right and kept me fuller for longer.
Makes: 2 medium glasses
Milk: 3 cups
Sugar: 1 and 1/2 tbsp
Oats: 2 tbsp
Take a mixer jar, add strawberries,oats,sugar and grind a little. Then add milk and keep whipping.
Can add some almonds too for some crunch and taste.
Sugar can be replaced by honey .
One scoop of vanilla Ice cream can be used if you want it more creamier. Just keep a check on adding sugar if adding ice-cream.
Cold milk serves best but in case you don’t have cold milk, just add room temperature milk plus some ice cubes.
